Hyglos' Streptavidin Magnetic Beads are composed of hydrophilic, cross-linked, chemical polymers. The beads respond very well to magnetic fields and have no magnetic memory. They are suitable for a wide range of applications such as separation/isolation of proteins, antibodies, nucleic acids and cells.
